I've read the documentation and have a /etc/c-client.cf file that includes "set disable-plaintext nil" but UW IMAP still ignores plain text passwords and doesn't let me login using telnet or browser to squirrelmail. Here's my list of versions. UW IMAPD 7:2002eddebian1-13 Squirrelmail v1.4.9a
