I thought I had sent the SM version before, which is 1.4.2. Output from
imapd: OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4REV1 STARTTLS LOGIN-REFERRALS
AUTH=LOGIN] ... IMAP4rev1 2000.283rh at Tue, 23 Mar 2004 18:12:40 +1100

Is there another configuration option that controls the behaviour or could
there be some kind of corruption?

If you want password security as well as encryption, download Putty and
create an SSH tunnel for your Squirrelmail session.
http://www.vbmysql.com/articles/sshtunnel.html is an article on how to
do it with mySQL but the technique applies to any application, including
SM.

Is there a way to have messages displayed by received date (descending)
then by thread? I thought I saw an option once but don't see it anymore.

controls that behaviour.
I posted this before but I either missed the answer or nobody replied.

I read on the wiki that there is an option to allow me to override the
default replacement for "Unsafe Messages". I cannot find the option. Can
anyone tell me where it might be or would I have to enable it through a
plug-in somehow?
Regards,
Dennis
