to the Plugin list. There is no further documentation on the install
files for this plugin that helps me.

You can simply modify the redirect.php page in Squirrelmail. If you
know simple PHP, this can be done very easily.

redirect.php page. Then you can simply parse the variable and remove
anything after the @ symbol to use as authentication
