I'm running Ubuntu 8.10, dovecot and squirrelmail.
in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf I have:
mail_location = maildir:~/_mail/inbox
and in /etc/squirrelmail/config.php I have:
$default_folder_prefix = '_mail/';
$sent_folder = 'sent';
