Steps performed as follows;
Ran
# /var/www/squirrelmail/config/conf.pl
9 -> 1
entered;
mysql://[EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/maildb.users
S -> Q
(remark: maildb=database users=table)
On browser checki

squirrelmail

amavis
On login;
Preference database error (connect failed). Exiting abnormally

password - mypassword
Both are correct.
