I did:
tail /var/log/maillog
and that told me that the folder in /var/mail/vhosts/ did not have the right
permissions. That is fixed now and it works well.

Thank you. Paul Lesniewski told me that it was fixed in
version 1.4.14SVN. I downloaded the new version, and the problem went
away.
