We have a FC4 linux system that has squirrelmail 1.4.6-3.fc4
installed. It is working normally, does not showing any particular
problem. Recently, I notice that the folder
/var/spool/squirrelmail/attach gets very big. When I check
it, it shows something like:
# ls

I don't see any change that might break things. Unless you made changes in
configuration and forgot to restart imap

Hello again,
here is a different approach for localized folder names, that I actually
discovered with another mail client called "Thunderbird".
It's like this: The client is in another language than english, but still
uses the common english default names for those folders - "Drafts", "Sent"
and
1. using telnet:/
Escape character is '^]'.
* OK dovecot ready.
A01 CAPABILITY
* CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 SORT THREAD=REFERENCES MULTIAPPEND UNSELECT IDLE
CHILDREN LISTEXT LIST-SUBSCRIBED NAMESPACE STARTTLS AUTH=PLAIN
A01 OK Capability completed.
AO2 LOGOUT
* BYE Logging out
AO2 OK Logout completed.
Hi there,
I'd like to change the default for auto refresh to a low value, so that
users don't need to click "refresh".
(Using forced_prefs, and then maybe remove the "refresh" link, if that's
possible?)
Yet I can't estimate how great the server impact would be. If I have
a maximum of 16 users log
1. telnet to IMAP server and show server's greeting.
telnet localhost 143

A01 CAPABILITY

2. compare your dovecot.conf with attached sample dovecot configuration
file. diff -uw doveco
I have checked and my default_main_env is
/*mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u */how can I check the other two options ?
Thanks a lot Tomas for you time,

If .Trash, .Send and .Drafts are directories with tmp, new and cur
subdirectories, then your default_main_env is not
'mbox:~/mail/:INBOX=/var/mail/%u' or you have user level configuration
overrides or ~/mail directory belongs to some other program.

I've been trying to figure out a Squirrelmail problem. First one
customer mailbox, and now a second, is having a problem where people
can't read messages. (They get an error when they click the subject of
a message)
When I test the server using IMAP, with something like Outlook Express

Hi,
We have a FC4 linux system that has squirrelmail 1.4.6-3.fc4 installed. It is
working normally, does not showing any particular problem. Recently, I notice
that the folder /var/spool/squirrelmail/attach gets very big. When I check it,
it shows something like:
# ls -l /var/spool/squirrelmail/a
