I am new to this list, so please be gently to me ;-)
I have squirrelmail 1.4.8 installed in the webserver and Dovecot
(dovecot-0.99.13-4.FC2) providing IMAP access in the mailserver. They are
separete machines but internally connected through LAN.

I am almost certain this is not a squirrelmail issue, but it's driving me up
the wall, and I'm hoping someone in here can point me in the right

I have just setup a box with Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS, courier-imap sendmail and
squirrelmail. For some very odd reason, it won't create the default s

Just to cover the obvious but is the time correct on the web server

This is more than likely a timeout from PHP trying to sort a large
number of messages. If your IMAP server supports it, turn
Hello,
I noticed that if my mail box has more than 1000 emails, the squirrel mail
cannot display them.
After logging in, the inbox shows about 1 emails, but if you click
inbox, nothing can be displayed on the right pane. If I deleted the emails
from inbox and make it less than 1000 emails,
I just tried removing my config file and using conf.pl to
re-configure from scratch, same problem. I am running 10.3.9.

Hello,
I am using squirrelmail-1.4.5. I don't have the problems in using it for a
while.
I don't have the problem to read the emails, however, when I clicked either
"Reply" or "Forward",
I get the following error in the log file:

IMAP. Check the logs, see why the IMAP server is dropping the connection.

I'm using squirrelmail on ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS with cyrus IMAP. Users can log
in, the config page says everything is ok, but users get this error once
they log in: "ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server."
Is this an IMAP issue, or a squirrelmail issue?

Hey all. I am in the process of migrating mail servers here at our
organization and have run into a problem with squirrelmail (1.4.8). I
have almost everything else working (other than an issue with
squirrelspell) but have run into one here I can't figure out.
So, I hit the compose link and t

Hello, I set up the qmailrocks package, and I am having a problem with
spam. I am getting emails sent to another address being dropped into my
account. For example, I have the email account [EMAIL PROTECTED] However, I am
receiving emails sent to things like [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED]
