I had about 200 messages (read and unread) in my email inbox at 12am last
night. I logged off squirrelmail, and then logged back on and they were
all gone. Sent message folder is fine and has all of the sent history.

well but I’d like to remove the Spam Filter Option from users as I don’t
control the firewall to give access to the RBLs etc.
Is there a way to remove Spam Filter option in V 1.4.6?
