You said you were messing around with filters, maybe a filter is active
redirecting all your mail from inbox to trash?
I'm not familiar with dovecot myself but maybe you should check your
imap filters?
This would make sense because if such a filter is active, even if you
move messages back
I use Squirrelmail 1.4.5 with Directadmin which uses Dovecot. I was messing
around with filters and folders in Squirrelmail. Not sure what I did. Now
a bunch of my messages out of my Inbox went to the trash folder. No
problem. Go to trash and show all then select all and move them back. Th

Hi squirrelmail users,
recently one of our users noticed that his signature is not beeing
appended, if he replied to a message that came in to one of his alias
addresses. I was able to reproduce that behaviour and found out that it
has got to with the settings

I was wondering if anyone was able to get shared folders with SquirrelMail
1.4.6 RC1 and courier-imap 4.x to work.
I am able to use (filesystem-based) shared folders just fine in
SquirrelMail version 1.4.4 with Courier-Imap 3.0.4.

Hi all,
I'm pleased to announce the release of

- Looking for quick patches to enhance SM (or plugins)?
- You have code which does not adhere to the SM development rules but

we use uw-imap and poprelayd.
we have configured uw-imap to log to /var/adm/uw-imap.log.
poprelayd reads that and constructs a berkeleyDB /var/adm/popip.db.
since squirrelmail uses imap on the local server, we catch all logins
for pop, imap, & squirrelmail. The uw-imap.log is a typical log file
This has already been answered, but I thought I would throw my 2ยข in,
just in case the user is still confused.
squirrelmail is a mail client -- not a mail server. It happens to run on
the server and present a web interface for users to access, but it then
connects to and depends on the server side
