I have squirrelmail-1.4.2 installed on OpenBSD 3.4.
I used conf.pl to enable the default plugin SquirrelSpell-v0.3.1 that comes
with squirrelmail-1.4.2.
When I clicked on the Check Spell button (in Compose window), a window pop
up with this message:
SquirrelSpell is misconfigured.
I tried to exec
I installed squirrelmail-1.4.1 on OpenBSD 3.4 and it works fine.
I installed squirrelmail-1.4.2 on the same box and it doesn't seem to work:
- after user click on the Login button, the page just login page just stays
forever.

I found this on Google, these lines in my php.conf file (an include for
the httpd.conf file) needed to be commented out. I have no idea what they
do, but it fixed it, and has had no ill effects so far:

Has anyone else had this problem: Attachments sent by SquirrelMail arrive
at their destination corupted? Everything but plain text files arrives
corupt, for example .gifs and .doc files.
File sent TO accounts serviced by SquirrlMail arrive fine.

I can actually prevent this from happening, by attaching the file, then
typing more in the body of the message.
I hope that helps narrow the problem down.
So, there's a workaround, but it is still broken for me.
Any ideas?

You can also just leave apache out of it and symlink your webmail
directories to the one centralized SM install.
