Hi all,
I am using Digital Certificate on Outlook (SSL) to
sign and encrypt emails. How do I do this using Squirrelmail as
well?
Thanks in advanced.

Because it's not a stable release, although that's not abundantly clear on
the Squirrelmail homepage. The announcement certainly makes it sound like
a stable release. In any case, I've tested 1.5 and found it fairly
stable, course that's just my account, not my 1500 users... And while I'm

Because it's not but I've just installed it on a system the other day using
Mercury/32 v4.01a as the IMAP4 server and I've had no problems at

I'm guessing that SM uses the same type of version numbering as the Linux
kernel. Odd numbers are development versions and even numbers are stable
releases.
stable releases
1.4.x
1.2.x
development releases
1.3.x
1.5.x

Because stable are v.1.4.x releases.
1.5.x contains development releases.

I am using qmail as my email server and Squirrelmail for webmail. I installed the
mail-fwd option for Squirrelmail but I need it to create a .qmail file instead of a
.forward file. I tried to install the dot-forward addon for qmail but I encounter an
error that is related to using RedHat 9 and

If you're talking about moving entire folders or accounts once, not
keeping them in synch. Then you can use the excellent IMAPCopy utility
for Linux or Win32:

It allows you to specify source user/password/folders and destination

Because it isn't.
1.5.x is the developmental series. 1.4.2 is the current stable release.

You don't say what IMAP server you are running, but if you have UW Imap
(or if you have access to the UW Imap mail tools) you can use the
'mailutil' command:

Newer versions of SM will have all the same help files (plus any
relevant updates). You shouldn't need to copy old help files. If
you've modified one, possibly take a diff and upgrade the new one by
patching it. Otherwise, copying the modified help file will probably

Hi guys,
I've been having a problem whereby my qfh / dfh sendmail queue files end up
in my root directory rather than in /var/spool/mqueue.
As such the sendmail queuerunner never handles them.
Of course I could just instruct a runner to handle the root every so often
but this isn't tackling the r
Hello,
