I have install plugin username and it is working fine.
I want to set up as default display welcome message for any user without
editing disply property. What to do ?

That's a RPM question, not a SquirrelMail one. Since I don't use RPM, I
have no idea. However, wouldn't it just be easier to unpack a tarball or
use CVS somewhere under /usr/loc

Yes, the account settings in question seem to have become defaulted to
"off" when I upgraded, yet every other user preference remained in place.
Perhaps these prefs were new to this version Once I set them in the
new version, they behaved well.

I have my user's Pref's in MySQL, and they still work. Perhaps the prefs
db changed or something? More values? Squirrel is not throwing errors.
