I am using SM 1.4.2, PHP 4 , about my IMAP server, i'm not sure at all what
type of server I am connected to, what I know is that it is an IMAP server.
Here is my problem, after keying my username and password, the page

Trying setup the address book to list names from my existing Active Directory
(Win2000) server, since that is pretty much an LDAP server. Have it defined with the
Base and port (3268), so that it will see the server, however it will not return

fast, but refreshing the inbox is still painfully slow.
It is clear from playing with the bayesspam options that it slows down
when Option "BayesSpam Filtering" is enabled. Disable it, fast squirrel.

I have installed SQM-1.4.2 in a solaris environment, based on 4 netra machines
that are load-balanced by a cisco balancer in a 6500 switch.
In short, while Squirrel works fine on one machine, with an acceptable speed,
i see a slowness in loading the message list (i.e. the standard frame after

It's just that if you are sending quite a large file it would be good to get
the upload going whilst you write the message. Less wasted time in int

I added BayesSpam to my configuration and find it very slow, as in minutes
now to refresh the inbox folder.
This on Squirrelmail 1.4.0 and 1.4.2.
Autolearn enabled and disabled.
Looking at the first 16K of messages
About 600 nonspam and 250 spam messages in the database.

I've just installed squirrelmail on a Linux server and although it's working, the
users dmain is wrong. We have a VPN with another client on the VPN and they have
their own mail domain. What is happening is when they go to send mail it has the
domain name of the main owner of the VPN not their
