I still have this problem up to now. Here's my additional info supplied.
Im using Solaris 9 and software as
follows:
Squirrelmail-1.4.2
PHP-4.3.4
Apache-1.3.29
Courier-imap-2.2.0
Is that PHP-4.3.4 is not working with
Squirrelmail-1.4.2? or doens't prove yet?

I'm basically having exactly the same problem as Peter was:

Did you ever solve this problem? I'm getting it for
all my users on 1.4.1 and 1.4.2!

you press return, a is added at the end of the line (if you're in IE,
in Mozilla, it adds a ),

It seems to me that the change_passwd pluggin is very buggy, I fixed the
code a bit, and now, although the message says that 'Your password was
changed successfully', nothing has been done. Does anyone have a working
copy of change_passwd for /etc/shadow?

confirmation" function when sending e-mail form Squirrel Mail 1.4.2. The
feature works fine, I mean, the receiver gets the request, clicks OK in

left side pane. Well by copying the compatibility folder from my older
install the left pane returns. However there are some peculiarities in how
