I am new to Squirrelmail and was hoping that someone could help me with
this.
I have searched the mailing list and found similar problems but with no
resolution.
Squirrelmail version is 1.4.1 installed from the tar file.

For the last 2 days I have been trying to figure out this error I get when I
do a authdaemond start:

Hi,
I've installed squirrelmail 1.4.1-2, and it works pretty good. To date I've
been accessing my IMAP server on my redhat 9 box using outlook express on a
windoze pc.
Now I've tried to access the IMAP mailboxes via squirrelmail, and it works
okay, except that even after subscribing to the relev
Hallo.
I know there is a plugin to have image button for "compose", "address", etc.
I'm using squirrelmail 1.2 with debian woody.
There is a possibility to use the plugin image buttons with this squirrelamil
version?
Thank you.

Hello. I'm running the imail 6.0.6 IMAP server (it stinks --
don't ask).
It's been running fine under SM 1.0.4 for a long time. Just
recently it quit working and I can't figure out why.
Under SM 1.0.4, the error message when I try to log in is:

Just a few questions..
1. In the Options -> Personal Information section, I would like to reduce the
number of timezones that appear, since this list is so long and certain
timezones don't actually work.

That should be fine, I was working out of CVS so the numbers were a bit
different.

please give more information about SM version, plugins being used, PHP

I've got personal address books running on the database and decided to

Hi,
thanks for your help! I have installed 1.4.1 and everything runs fine,
even folders >3000 messages can now be opened.
My conclusion: Version 1.4.1 has clear performance enhancements
especially for large folders!
Thanks for you quick replies.

Looks like SquirrelMail doesn't like the attribute x:num that MS programs
put in. It's actually an XML namespace attribute. Try changing line 1074
in functions/mime.php from:
$regary = sq_findnxreg($body, $pos, "[^\w\-_]");
to:
$regary = sq_findnxreg($body, $pos, "[^:\w\-_]");

If I have 87 messages, I 'toggle all' and subtract what I want to keep.
My inbox then is displayed with a bunch of messages...but none of them
were the ones I wanted. I then refresh the page and I have the messages I
want.
Anyone know why this happens?

You're absolutely correct. Finally got it working with this:

I just made a new procmail plugin based off of this plugin that corrects
this problem. Should be available very soon.
