I am running SquirrelMail v 1.4.1-2. When I add attachments of moderate
size (200KB or less), they work fine. When I add large attachments (say
800KB +), I receive a "The page cannot be displayed" window in IE
immediately upon clicking the "Add" button.
I receive this message on my local LAN, so I

We're using Cyrus IMAP with webcyradm, and using the unixhierarchysep
which creates users mailboxes with user account names and creates the
mail directory like joeuser^yourdomain^com. It replaces the "." with
"^". So if

Hi,
I'm running SM 1.2.8 on a RedHat Linux 7.3 (php-4.1.2-7.3.6 , postfix-1.1.7-2,
perl-5.6.1-34.99.6, imap-2001a-10, all through SSL) and I'm experimenting
slowness and httpd process to go wild caused by redirect.php . I've been
through the FAQ on http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/SquirrelMail
Well,
I run Solaris, which sendmail comes with along. sendmail is running but not
configured yet.
But sendmail would be sufficient in combination with SM ?
Best regards,

thanks to all who replied. I'll guess I'll go for Squirrelmail then.
So, that brings me to another issue:
When I want to run SM with Courier IMAP, do I need sendmail to run on my
system ?
Cheers,

SquirrelMail sets no limit. It depends on how you are storing the
address books. If you use files then the limit is set by your disk
capacity. If you use databases then i
