Please use the attached shared calendar plugin for SM 1.4 and repost if
you still get these messages. Also, please try using the default theme

Hi There,
I've written to the list several times regarding this
issue.. Search for something like UW IMAP slow
performace,etc..
The problem is that UW-IMAP by default uses mbox
format which is one big file for all messages. To
count messages or to even find out how many are
new/old, it has to open

This is a setting you need to make with your IMAP server, and has
nothing to do with SquirrelMail. You should post your question in a
more appropriate place, but if you ask nicely and in

I have searched the archives and the wiki but haven't found my answers: I
plan to set up SM for a few hundred users, likely no more than 20-30
connected at any one time. SM will connect to an Exchange server for the
rear end... um, I guess I mean backend :). I have MySQL installed on the
box.
If you cannot telnet to it on port 143 then it is NOT running, all you did
was execute the daemon manually.

This can be changed using the Display HTML by default option or the View
as HTML plugin. Most of the developers (my self included) aren't big fans
of HTML emails anyway, so we consider it a feature :)

You are probably using the "mbox" format to store your mail. This puts
all the messages for a folder into one file. So, to get the last 15
messages, it has to read in the entir

Hi
I'm running SM using UW Imap and everything is working well, my users
access their Imap in the office through outlook express and when they are
on the road through SM. The problem I have is the folder structure.
Folders in Outlook express do not point to the same folder structure that

Hi all!
I just switched to the 1.4.0 release of SM. Before that I ran the 1.2
branch of the RedHat 9 linux distribution. After I switched to the new
release I cannot find out how to set up the mailfolder prefix.
With the old release it always automatically displayed the right
