Thanks, I'll try to upgrade, and see if that works. And I'll make sure to
make backups of the current setup.

How can I disable the message "this image was not displayed due to
security reasons" and instead make SM display all images in e-mail?

Which PHP script creates folders in the users's IMAP account if they
don't currently exist? For some reason my users are not having "sent"
created but all other folders are and either I did something to the
script or something is wrong =\

OK, yes,. My IMAP concern was in writing to the Sent Mail folder as the delay factor.
Yes, I understand that SMTP and IMAP are different.
So, if my IMAP Client (Mozilla) can send through SMTP, but SquirrelMail needs 60
seconds to do so (on the same box using IP 127.0.0.1), what other settings
Imap is only used for 'receiving' mail, not 'sending'.
It looks like there's a miscommunication between SM and your local
sendmail...

Hi Thomas,

If you're looking for a simple-n-easy drop-in-replacement for uw-imap,
courier might not be it. If you're looking for a great replacement,
courier-imap is hard to beat.
It's really not *_all_* that difficult to install courier-imap,
On my shiny new qmail/Courier/SquirrelMail 1.40rc2a install, everything is working
great, except sending email (plain text content) invokes a 60 second delay (pause)
before the screen responds again the message is sent. I tried it with Mozilla and IE6
clients, and to different email recipient h

You might want to consider upgrading your SquirrelMail installation.
You're currently using 1.0

I've been attempting to get Squirrelmail working with the Dovecot IMAP
server, with little success. I am able to read messages on the server,
however when I try sending I get the following error.

Is there any plans to support the Japanese language set in the Display
Options --> Preferences --> Default Language?
Or is there a plugin available?
