[SM-USERS] ssl needed?

I just wrapped my pop connections in an ssl tunnel and I'm wondering if I need or if I can do the same to my squirrel mail connections. Aside from SquirrelMail, I do not use IMAP. I have those ports (143) closed on my firewall. My web server and my IMAP server are on the same machine and accordi

Hi, I get error when trying to log into Squirrel http://server.com/webmail/ Preference file, /var/lib/lib/squirrelmail/prefs/user.pref, could not be opened ... When I turn off safe mod in php.ini everything is OK. But safe mod is also important to security. I used and rebuild src.rpm package

OK, Have now tested on: IE 6 Netscape 7 Opera 6.05 Mozilla 1.0.1 And experience the same issues. SM version is 1.2.9 I've also attached a 4 KB message that can be used as an example of the problem I am experiencing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Marshall Original
