Thanks for the update.
This behavior means that for some reason, the virtio-serial device was
closed.
In this case, mouse mode switches from client to server (assuming you
don't use usb tablet), and c&p stops working.
The most reasonable scenario for this is a crash of vdservice for som

I'll have to apologize for the lack of action on my part. I've gotten
busy with a bunch of customer work and other personal matters. I'm
returning to my office on Monday and will restart my testing. I'll also
try the newest vdagent on my XP VMs.
