expected: the two classes (ExtendedDisMaxQParser and DisMaxQParser)
don't have a direct inheritance relationships and the methods which deal

Yes, on further investigation I found -

I also created a ticket to resolve these differences and have a uniform way
of handling
Thanks for the report. This sounds like a bug. At least on startup, we
should refresh the configuration from ZK without looking at local config
versions. Can you please open a Jira issue?
