Thanks for the reply. I think this approach will work only for new
collections. Is there any approach to shift some existing cores to a new
machine or node??

1. Keep monitoring your disk (e.g. with SPM:

2. Add new SolrCloud nodes when disk is N% full
3. Create new Collection and specify where its data should live - see
createNodeSet under
