should copy the jars as it says in refguide, then restart solr. I think you can
get trouble if you do it both ways.

Correction on the change that I did. I just added the jars in my solrconfig.xml
file as below:
The cp command was the steps I saw in the reference guide.
I figured it should be the same thing.
