I am planning to use Solr for an application that would be indexing a lot of
documents. I am trying to understand the advantage/disadvantage of embedding
the Solr Server into my application.
When does one use one over the other? Speed of Search and Result Retrieval
is of course of paramoun
I am planning to use DataImportHandler with Solr1.2 . How can I port this?

I am also looking forward to get this checked into the trunk.
Will there be a patch with Solr1.2 support?
