I am trying to work with the BSC-RM SLURM Simulator (
https://github.com/BSC-RM ) but I am encountering several errors while
building it. I wanted to check if anyone else has used this simulator
previously. Also are there any other slurm simulators for newer versions
available as this simulator
Hi Ole,
I am using slurm emulator and would soon start working with the slurm
simulator. I need these larger topology files for the purpose of a project
and not actual job scheduling. If there are any suitable resources for me
to use, please let me know.

Hi,
I am using the slurmibtopology tool to generate the topology.conf file from
the cluster at my institute which gives me a file with around 400 nodes. I
need a topology file with a larger no of nodes for further use. Is there
anyway of generating a synthetic topology file , or any source where I

I am installing slurm on Ubuntu-18.04. After following the instructions for
building and installing slurm given on the website I get the following
error when I try to start slurmctld:
Failed to enable unit, unit slurmctld.service does not exist.
Are there any other steps to be followed in addition

I am using Ubuntu-18.04 on Windows Subsystem for Linux. I have installed
slurm using the ubuntu package (slurm-wlm). I get the the following error
while starting slurmctld /slurmd:
slurmctld: error: _parse_next_key: Parsing error at unrecognized key:
SlurmctldHost slurmctld: error: Parse error in
Installing slurm without root access is proving to be difficult. I will
explore the other options suggested in this thread.
