Hi,
About every other time I try to attach an existing session on a
certain host I'm getting a message, something like "Remove dead
screens with -wipe", and then it starts a new screen session instead
of attaching the one I requested. Is there a way to fix this? I
thought the connections were done
n the screen distro,
are these live? For instance the end of the man page says:
Send bug-reports, fixes, enhancements, t-shirts, money, beer & pizza
to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I sent a patch or two to these addresses a while ago and got no
response.

OK, just tested and for me 'next' works if the session is attached
somewhere, but not if it is detached. Did you try it with the test
session detached?

here)
$ screen --version
Screen version 4.00.02 (FAU) 5-Dec-03
I am no longer able to set the escape sequence of a screen session
with e.g. '-X escape "^Tt"' in version 4.00. Also, I think I was able
to do -X next or -X prev before,
