I also regularly max out the number of windows, and even worse, I changed the maximum number of windows to 40 in the source before compiling (MAXWIN if I remember correctly). I found that renumbering the windows helps, grouping similar windows together so scrolling between isn't as long. I've

History no longer available in command line mode

Actually for a year now I have been without history in command line mode (with arrow up). I was wondering if that is a discontinued feature or if I might have some something in my screenrc to hose it perhaps? Thanks for any suggestions. -- Eric Smith _

Thanks Michael. Until I learn how to oirganise my life better, I constantly am up against the max limit of windows on my screen session. Ergo, I spend a lot of time scrolling through irrelevant windows . Now the `other' command is very useful but it would be much greater if one could scroll ba
