It is a pretty basic question, indeed. And the way I do it involves
the Clipbase :
+ Copy the game to Clipbase (CTRL-C)
+ Open the Database Switcher (CTRL-D)
+ Switch to the database you want to search
+ Create a new game (CTRL-N)
+ Copy the game from Clipbase (CTRL-V)
+ Open the PGN Win
I hope rather basic questions are OK-- sometimes I'm unable to find
very basic techniques in the help file. In this case:
How can I take the position from a board I am looking at in one
database (say, a history of my own games) and search for it in another
