Joost, I had tcl/tk 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5. I've removed 8.3 and 8.4 and that has removed scid also. Tried to recompile and I've got: configure: Makefile configuration program for Scid Renaming "Makefile" to "Makefile.bak" Tcl/Tk version: 8.5 Your operating system is: Linux 2.6.31-22-gener
