Now i understand.
What's missing is a way to copy the current game to the CLIPBOARD (not
clipbase).
I will look into that.

Let me try to detail the changed behaviour.
I copy a game (from a web page, say). Then I go to Scid.
Edit -> Paste Clipboard text as PGN game -> Import
Now I start an analysis engine.
Add Variation
The Notation pane shows the game plus the analysis.
Edit -> Copy This Game to Clipbase
Edit -> Paste

The analog operation in SCID is to copy the content of the PGN window of an
unsaved game to the Clipboard. This still works: if I

In Scid 4.5.2 if I Add Variation to an unsaved game, and then I Copy This Game
to Clipbase, the variation (i.e. the engine analysis) is included. Good! But
when I do this in 4.6.0, it isn't.
