I suppose so, but it also depends on CPU alignment requests for example. So

As to feedback on Scid 3.6.24 rc1 I have this...
I noticed that the "Connect hardware" icon to the right of
the " Turn the side-to-move icon on or off" had NO
hinttext displayed when the mouse pointer (arrow) was
placed above it id est that it should have an hinttext displayed
