I fixed the comment editor. I needed to reparent all widgets tied to "." for the main window, and prefixed it with ".main". So there may exist code I did not change yet. The way the layout manages tabs needs some time to be used to, but keeping old mode prevents some UI optimisations. Pascal

I think there is at least one use for both : routine work and deep study. If one has more than 4 windows open, e.g. for deep study, we would still need the multi-window design. Would it be possible to save two configurations, then ? ---
