I also compiled a windows binary. Installation is a non-event for windows - it
just works - though nowadays Linux Tcl/Tk look

Hmmm... Tried it out and there seems issues (incorrect values of
scidBasesDir, scidBooksDir being stored in $HOME/.scid/config
/options.dat), so i'd to
