I upgraded from 4.6.2 to 4.6.4 and I'm stumped. How do I change the default
opening databases?
In 4.6.2 I simply opened my databases and closed SCID. Then the next time I ran
SCID, SCID opened to where I was.
Now in 4.6.4, everytime I run SCID it

I'm having a problem with chess engine control.
I have selected as my chess engine Stockfish 2 thread (SF-2T), and it performs

Just curious why is it that the "Top of the Day" window is below and hidden
from view when opening 4.6.2? Why isn't it the top most windows?

This is not a SCID question, but I am wondering...
1. Does anyone know if it is possible to restrict a chess engines analysis to
white-only or black-only?
2. Does anyone know of a resource/webpage that lists the valid parameters for a
chess engine?

So far I've only seen Stockfish and GreKo annotate (produce an annotate icon in

I have a few question regarding using SCID.
1. After I create a database, I open a "Game List Window" and start scrolling
through the games.
a) If I click on the header Date I see a tiny arrow. And it toggles up and down
as I click this header. But what it doesn't do is sort the games by Date.
