Rather than attack the authors of the makefile, just submit a patch to
improve it.
This is open source software, I'm sure they would welcome improvements to
make cross-platform builds better. I'm sure they'd be willing to return the
money you paid for this source code, as well. :P

I prefer the single window scid, and use it in linux and mac. Does scid vs
pc work in linux easily? Is there any way to make it run in a single
