bash 'locate chessgames'
the games come back looking like this :-

complained bits were missing, so I compiled the missing bits and this is the

I'm having problems installing scid in Mandriva 2011 64 bit, this is what
happened in bash.
[peter@localhost scid]$ ./configure
./configure: line 30: exec: tclsh8.5: not found
[root@localhost scid]# locate tclsh8.5
[root@localhost scid]# locate tclsh
/usr/bin/tclsh
/usr/bin/tclsh8.
Yes. All windows are docked and the main window is maximized as you would
any other.
Even after saving the layout, saving the settings manually, and then
allowing them to be saved upon exit, it still opens non-maximized.

When I open SCID the window does not maximize how I would like it. I

I want to import a large number (~100) of individual pgn files into a
Scid database. I'm under the impression that I can only import 4 at a
time. Is this correct? If not, what is the correct procedure? Worse
comes to worst, I can always stitch the pgn files together with a shell
script or some
