I only have an xboard compatible engine but I can see the syntax has

I know. I meant the user should be warned instead of letting it

As I mentioned before I've been using Scid 3.5 without any problems.
Now that I've given 3.6.24 a try I encountered a problem with running an
engine through wine. Why did it stop working? (my native engine
shortcuts work fine)

the changes are impressive compared to the last version I've been using
(3.5) and are going in the right direction. Among the
