IIRC, (HT) means that the position was found in the hash table, with the
spec'd value
for the ply depth it's currently looking at. It seems that it doesn't
save the line that
ended up in that value, therefore it just shows (HT). The reason is
normally that the
"best" move was chosen from an ea
e important commands in
scid, IMO.
Otherwise automatic scripting of things like TWIC downloading and db
building
gets pretty gross. I use it all the time, but then, I'm a huge addict to
automization, well, that's the purpose of computers in the first place.
