Hi everybody,
I have cloned and built the latest version of SCID. Thanks for the
continuous improvements.
On the new game list, I could not find how to save layouts. Also I could
not find how to edit existing layouts.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi,
Is anybody currently working on improving the build process? I have to go
through the pain of learning autoconf for another project, and I thought
that while I'm at it, I could work on this for Scid. But I don't want to
invest the time if somebody else is already working on it.

Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded to OpenSuse 12.2 and compiled the latest git code for
Scid. Now when I view the tree window using a reference database, and I
click the "Show best tree games list" button, Scid crashes with the

Is it possible to have a clickable link in user comments to other games in

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Over the years I have build up quite a number of databases. Some of
them seem to have been created for the same purpose, and contain
similar, if not the same material. Is there a was to compare databases

Hi,
How do I put in a variation at the end of line. I used to go back one move,
repeat the last move, choose "Add new variation" and enter the variation.
However now (using the latest CVS), if I make the same move again, the move
is just made, and I'm not prompted to add a new variation.

Hi everybody,
Is there somebody on the group that knows tk that is willing to provide me
with a patch to re-instate the old right mouse button click functionality
(delete move at end of variation). I just accidentally deleted an hour's
work (again!), it's extremely frustrating.

Hi everybody,
The subject really says it all. This is true in Scid 4 and 3.7.3, so I
assume it's a problem with my version of tcl. I compiled from source on
OpenSuSE 11.1, using tcl/tk version 8.5.5. Any ideas?

I support this request. Maybe the database switcher can be modified for this
purpose. It can show all your databases, with a colour or icon indicating
which are open and which not. It's probably the only useful CB feature that
has no equivalent in Scid.

The right mouse button goes back in move history, and does not delete moves
