I've run into something similiar several times, usually, I type the command
"time" in the console and if the server is showing my clock running down I
know it's my turn even if SCID is showing that I made my move. When this
happens, I use the arrow keys in SCID to move back one move, and then I

What is the best way to create an "Aquarium Deep Analysis/IDeA Tree" in
SCID.
Basically, I want to do the following,
Setup and analyze a position, add the best variations to a book/tree and
continue with the analysis at at different times by exploring the various
variations.

A feature changed after the recent CVS update when the FICS console cursor
was fixed.
When a game is played in FICS, the PGN window displays the moves after they
happen. However, the original moves are not displayed if a game is
observed.
For example, when an event is relayed on FICS,

I noticed a couple things playing on FICS that do not bother me but I wanted

the Blitz rating when playing blitz games.

The dockable windows and UI updates are impressive.
Also, being able to toggle the game info on/off from under the board is a
real nice feature.

Thanks for the port!
I installed SCID on the current 4.4 snapshot of OpenBSD without any

Has anyone recently installed scid on OpenBSD?
I found some information on it from 2004 but it does not apply to OpenBSD

The Makefile is generated correctly but there is an error:

I tried out the updated CVS with keyboard moves on FICS.
Thanks for update!

I've been using SCID to play blitz games on FICS. It has been working
great. I am able to save the game directly into an open database and run
analysis on it.
How hard would it be to have an option to make the time clock digital?
Right now, the analog clock is hard to read and I have to type tim
