Scidvspc works perfectly well in any linux distro.
I use Slackware and Windows.
In Slackware is just as easy as:
./configure
./make
./make install
on the source tree, for both x86 or x64.
Differences? well, the 2 major differences:
.The docking mode doesn't work on scidvspc...
.Scidvspc supports
Scid vs PC is a much more stable, active and bugs free project.
Scid is almost dead in itself
ScidDB doesn't even exist
All of the 3 projects share code, the main reason cause Free Software
fails to progress is lack of Community Work...
