Hi,
There is an issue to update[1] Macports' port for Scid to 4.7.0 and the
author proposes to remove the tklib dependency because Scid bundles and
installs it and its dependency itself. Is that accurate? if so, is it
necessary or that can be overriden? The preference is to use macports

Hi there,
I'm trying to use the new Cocoa based build of Tk, but Scid exits after this
message:
num matched toplevel windows does not equal num children
It happens in updateBoard around line 1513 of end.tcl, any pointers about how
to proceed debugging it? I'm not sure what the message means.
I just found this:
http://code.google.com/p/scidonthego/
Claims to be a Scid database browser for Android.

Hi!
The Tcl/Tk frameworks have changed from Carbon to Cocoa and I've managed to
make it work, but I need to test if the changes work on other versions of Mac
OS and PPC. Please, download the file from the link at the bottom and let me
know if it works for you, what system you have and if it's P
There is a problem when scidExecutable points to a symlink with a relative
path, scidExeDir is set to a relative path and Scid can't find neither books or
bases, at least under mac.
The patch at the bottom fixes the issue, but I couldn't reproduce other cases
when scidExecutable points to a sym
There has been an update on the mac tcl/tk libraries and some files need to be
updated. On menus.tcl I'm just moving the mac code upwards. start.tcl doesn't
show the changes on fonts set-up on CVS, so here they are too, ignore them if
they are already committed.
