I second that - exactly thats the way I used chessbase to prepare for
opponents and imo it makes sense to decouple tree window and game filter
lists, as you suggested.
On a side note, it would also be cool if there was a way to merge tree
games (lets say annotated super gm games) with
mplete at all :-(

when trying to copy a game from scid to a forum i noticed it is pretty
counterintuitive; when I press ctrl-c nothing happens.
This puzzled me a bit because in the menu "edit" it says: copy game to

release Scid 4,5, 5 or whatever?
It's been a year since the release of 4.2.2.

I think there were quite a few changes done recently so (imo) it would
make sense to release SCid 4.3.
