​Thanks, Benoit. That's good advice about being cautious with using a particular number such as 1300 for unrated players. I'm willing to just leave that field blank (is that what you are recommending?) except that my games database got corrupted when I started entering both USCF and ELO ratings.

James, The only way I can think of right now to change at once all the ratings from ELO to USCF would be: - export your database in PGN - open the PGN file with a text editor, and - replace the text with a Search and Replace. I don't think of a way to tweak the ELO files. Other can chime in here
