I applied the patch to
scid-code-ae199eb3496714b50d2cbd204492d61022b2da76. I compiled using the
patch, but could not run scid, getting this error instead:
can't read "droppedaliases": no such variable
while executing
"set droppedcount $droppedaliases"

I've pushed a patch that adds a Options->Photos directory...
