Werner, Iwu, I've finally got the time to reproduce the whole procedure and it made me rewrite the HowTo: https://sourceforge.net/p/scid/wiki/HowToShowPlayersPhotos/ Seems that one needs to restart SCID for the images to appear. Also, the players' names files can be everywhere one wants, but not
