In SCID, PGN files are read-only.
To modify a database, first convert it to the SCID format.
I usually do that using two different techniques.
Assuming you have created a new SCID database.
Then, either I do
- Tools/Import File(s) of PGN games;
- Copy the games from the Database Switcher
I’m just working on a TWIC database, but how do you manually edit the header
information for a game in your database? For instance, one entry has the white
player as Godes, D, but I wanna edit the white player so it’s displayed as
Godes, D., also same goes with the Event label. Any help would be
