Actually the ads on the TWIC page are of the London Chess Centre, also
the shop that hosts TWIC and that employs Mark. If you only make it
your homepage and never actually buy anything, the number of hits they
see will increase but you'd only be costing them (a tiny bit of) money
for the hosting.
