I am afraid, this is not possible within scid. (is it???) Would be great, if it were possible, btw Did this however once by manually editing the pgn file. (Exporting both games to pgn, insert the one game in an editor into the other (when the have the same position, insert one game after strippin

Hi, I have another issue which has recently come up dealing with the merge function! I am using Scid 4.3. It is possible to merge a game with its comments? I tried but without success. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks! Jos -

Hi Philipp, Thanks for this solution. It works! But, there is a slight concern. It works only for the main line, not for variations. So, I have first promoted the variation to the main line and then applied your solution. The merge also works from the tree-window when it's the main line. Cheers,
